I hold a theory-based PhD in Art from the Edinburgh College of Art at The University of Edinburgh. My doctoral research examined the role of protest art in social protest by exploring the Chilean student movement of 2011-2013.
I also hold an MFA degree in Contemporary Art Practice from The University of Edinburgh, a Postgraduate Diploma in Communication and Cultural Management, and a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts from the University of Chile. I have experience collaborating on projects as a researcher, conservator and educator in higher education. Recently, I led the research project Visual Repertoire of the Chilean Student Movement of 2011 and worked as a postgraduate teaching assistant at the Edinburgh Futures Institute.

Doctora en Teoría del Arte y Magíster en Prácticas de Arte Contemporáneo de la Universidad de Edimburgo, Reino Unido. Licenciada en Artes con mención en Artes Plásticas con título profesional de Pintora y Diplomada en Comunicación y Gestión Cultural por la Universidad de Chile. He trabajado y colaborado en varios proyectos de investigación, conservación y restauración, creación y difusión de obras. Tengo experiencia como tutora, profesora ayudante y docente en educación superior. Mi investigación doctoral estudió el rol del arte de protesta y su importancia en movimientos sociales mediante el análisis de la producción de obras durante el movimiento estudiantil chileno de 2011. Parte de esta investigación fue presentada en encuentros académicos en la Universidad de Cambridge, Oxford, St. Andrews, Edimburgo, Universidad de Valparaíso, y en el Paul Mellon Centre de la Universidad de Yale, entre otros.
